Hi Jim !
Thanks for the pictures of our WestPac run '58-'59 !
Some of the unidentified photos are people who are very familiar, but I've forgotten their names. The first photo "At anchor", was taken when we anchored in Chin Hi(?) Korea. I believe the center guy is me and the one to my left is 'Ponce'. #15 is me.
#19 is Dale Barious. #25 is Cooper.
Looking at these old photos bring back wonderful memories ! Thank you !

I think the offficer identified as Mr Smith is actually Mr Kimbal aka "Red Dog"
Robby and Laurie eating whipcream was during their chiefs initation.

Chief Roberts and I believe a chief electrican named Turner or some such. He later made warrant officer. They are being initiated as CPO's

The photo promation day sent in by robert jones 58-59 is the photo I refered to
in last note..
I sent a copy to my son who had never seen me in service. The photo is under Yokosuka, Japan
