From: "Bill Weinhardt"

Jim, Sorry it has taken so long but other stuff got in the way. I sent a string of e-mails with a pic as attachment to each. If you send me your US Mail address, I'll mail you the floppy with these and possibly some others. I do have some slides also somewhere if I can find them.

Here is the Crew in Naha, Okinawa, WestPac, May of 1963

The Officers. From left to right:
LT Dave Butterfield Eng Off(in sunglasses),
LCDR Warren Helgerson - XO,
CDR Ed Cummings - CO,
LT Bob Gordon (in glasses) Communications,
Me - LTjg Bill Weinhardt - OPS,
LTjg Vaughn Martin, LTjg or maybe Ens Tom Bayless, and kneeling is
LTjg Bill Langhans.

The Chiefs:
I can name some.
Kneeling is Chief Laurie, the cook;  at far right is Chief Nigma(sp?), Chief Electrician and may have been COB at this time. The other Chiefs, I will think about.

The Crew:
I'll have to get out my magnifying glass and really search my memory. I still am in touch with Warren Helgerson who was XO at the time.
