Subject: Diodon Reunion

I am interested in the 2002 Submarine Veterans National Convention. I was on the Diodon from Jun 53 to Oct 54. I don't remember too many people but I would like to meet some of them and renew old friendships. I was a GM3(SS), but I worked with the Aft Torpedo crew. I have just joined the Seawolf Base Sub Vets group in Panama City, Fl. Please send me the info about the convention.

My full name is Billy Joe Thweatt, Service No. 4264566.

I went to Basic Enlisted Course U.S. Naval Submarine School, New London, Ct. Class 96 from 4-27-53 to 6-18-53. Then I was assigned to the Diodon. I served on the Diodon until my enlistment was up in Oct 54.
