Sure would be nice to hear from some of the "old timers" I saw Smitty ( Edgar Smith) at the Peoria reunion. Also have tried to contact several of the shipmates I served with listed on this site.

We snorkled from San Diego to Pearl in the fall of 1950. Then on to Guam and manuevers with aircraft. From there we went to Yokuska, Japan.

In late Nov. '50 we spent two weeks in the Hokaido Straights, submerged all day and charged the batteries all night on the surface. Lots of memories from way back then. See you in Duluth 9/19/02.
