I haven't a clue where Clyde R. Tipp might be. He was an SN on the Diodon when I reported aboard in Dec '54. The list you saw on the web page was a sailing list dated approximately Jun '55.
 
Sometime before our 56-57 Westpac cruise he transferred off the Diodon - to where I am not sure.
 
I am coping several Diodon shipmates with whom I am in contact in hopes they can help you locate him. I understand it is for a Sea Leopard (SS-483) / Sirago (SS-485) reunion. Were these San Diego Boats ?
