For my part in the USS Diodon (SS-349) Please check under "Memories & Stories of the Boat" under "USS Diodon (SS-349) Shake Down Cruise Dec. 1949" and under "Memories & Stories of the Crew" under " Under my name Roger G. Spindler with a copy of the "Guppy Certificate" that were given to the crew.

This boat at this time stood out from the old World War II Fleet type, being so slim an trim. 73...roGer.. In the service it was "SPIN"...
