Subject: Status report: Seattle Russian Foxtrot Submarine
The Russian sub is still getting her new paint job as of today (4/23/02). The link below shows some of the photos taken during her stay in Tacoma. George Debo and I throughly crawled through the sub including the lower flats. The Coast Guard is coming to inspect the boat on Thursday. I still don't know when she's coming to Pier 48 in Seattle.

Approx 30 Seattle and Bremerton Base subvets have asked to be docents to date. Scheduling will not happen until the sub is moved and there is a definite opening date. I think it will be closer to May 15th than May 1st.
Also, Thought you might be interested in this one about the Canadian sub HMCS
Victoria.
