I am trying to locate anything I can about Torpedoman First Class, U.S. Navy, John Mihalowski. He received the Medal of Honor for his efforts in saving 33 crew from the USS Squalus. John married my Great Aunt Sarah in 1972 or 73.

I am trying to do the Family Tree and history of my mothers family, and would like to find any information I can on John.

Since his death, the family has lost any papers they may have had, and I am desperate to locate any reports available on his career. Many thanks for anything you may be able to direct me to.
