WE NEED HELP!
As we Celebrate our almost 8yrs online corresponding and speaking with you ALL
and personally sharing in the "tears and happiness" with over 10,700 Reunions.
We would like to Thank you all for your positive replies, encouraging comments and for letting us share in your many great reunions.

"Veterans do make a difference. Their contributions and acts of selfless service make a profound difference in our world. Today, and Every Day, We should honor them for their service … for their sacrifice … and for making a difference in our world."

Our goal here at American Veteran Search is to reunite these Hero's with their Buddies.
We are trying to keep this website accessible to All Veterans regardless of their ability to pay the fee or not, so they too Can Reunite and Reinforce old friendships made during their military service. In some cases it even helps bring closure to the Veterans lost to PTSD, by reuniting them with their Buddies that they served in Combat with. This alone can sometime help them return back to the world they knew before they lived the horrors of War.

Please! We need your Help! Many of you that have websites of your own, know the expenses of running a small website. Well, here at AVS we have a large website which is getting bigger and more expensive to run every month. We really can't figure out what went wrong! We were sure that this was a service that all Veterans wanted, and the response has been great from the Veterans that we have reached with our service. Just take a look at our Guestbook and the AVS Reunion's Pages. We have reunited Thousands of Veterans from All Wars and All Era's since opening this site on Veterans Day 98. Some Veterans complained that we were charging a fee and trying to make money off our Veterans (someone has to pay the bills) so we made the site "FREE" to All Veterans who couldn't afford the fee. This way All Veterans could enjoy our service regardless of being able to afford the fee or not.

 Unfortunately there is no way for us to control who joins for FREE and our generosity has nipped us in the butt. We have Millions of Members and visitors on our web site every month and only a little over 1,500 in the last 8 Years online have helped us out by paying the fee. This is just not enough income to keep the site updated and running smooth. Each month since beginning the site, Jack and I have had to reach in our own pockets to keep this great service running.

We never planned on making it rich from this site, we also never expected that it would cost us so much to run. Between the monthly ISP(we are charged by the amount of Bandwidth we use), Data Base Maintenance, data entry personal, Large phone bills, mailings, website designers, and other techies. It seems there is always a bill to be paid. Jack and I have not taken 1 penny from this website, and we don't even mind that! But we can't keep shelling out the bucks. We are not rich men, we are just 2 Veterans with a cause,

"Reuniting All Veterans with their Buddies"
We are not just a data base or a guestbook for you to search for your buddies. We actually get involved with the search process, we actually track down and speak to your buddy before we send you their information on how he or she can be contacted. We PAY to subscribe to large database Companies both on and off the Internet to search for your buddies. We don't just send you a list of phone numbers like some other so called search sites do. And! They charge you $39.95 and up, for their service and that's for EACH request. We just ask for a "Onetime Fee" of $19.95 and you can search for as many people as you wish. We really don't think that this will break anyone's piggy bank( You can't even go to the movies and have a popcorn for that!). But unfortunately, most Veterans choose not to pay the fee. Someone has to pay the bills.

We are asking all Veterans to get involved with this Website and Help us stay online and continue to Reunite ALL VETERANS with their Buddies. Please help us spread the word by downloading the "AVS POSTER" and posting it where Veterans might see it. If you can't afford the $19.95 "Onetime Fee", then please feel it in your hearts to send a small donation, $1.00- $5.00, or stop by the "AVS PX Store" and make a small purchase of a Hat, T-Shirt or a Custom Made Tour or Cruise Jacket to show your Pride in your Military Service to our Great Country. Every dime goes into Running and Maintaining this website and Helping Veterans Reunite...
