All,

Our scheduled guests on POW/MIA Radio for Sunday, August 14, 2005 are:

3:00pm Mountain - Rod and Martie Tyler:  Rod is a two-tour Vietnam Veteran, serving in the Navy Seabees in 1967-1968. After Vietnam, Rod went back to work for the same steel firm he started with before his service until he became too sick to continue.  In 1983, at age 36 Rodney was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and applied for a service connected disability. He was initially denied and it has been a continuing fight to prove the connection between his problems and his exposure to dioxins in Vietnam. His case serves as awareness for all veterans who may have been exposed to dioxins, especially from Agent Orange, to seek more information and help.

4:00  pm Mountain - News and Views:  An hour of the latest POW/MIA and veterans issues.

5:00 pm Mountain - Jerry Kiley:
Jerry has been an activist in the POW/MIA issue for over 20 years. He is an Army veteran, served as Communications Director for the National Vietnam Veterans Coalition and later served as Vice-President. He has also been on the board of The Last Firebase, Veterans of the Vietnam War and Homecoming II Project.  Jerry's activism has not waned as most recently he protested at the dinner for the Vietnamese Prime Minister, Pham Van Khai where he was arrested for "harassing" Mr. Khai.  Jerry will discuss his experiences and thoughts on today's POW/MIA issues and personalities.
