Is the "Cold War" really over? We just received this from a Member in the Far
East.
"It is not in the papers, but sources in Tokyo say that in Moscow, the Russian
cabinet's decision has been published regarding the large scale joint military
maneuver involving Russian and Chinese forces slated to take place the second
half of 2005.
"The Russian Defense Minister, Mr. Ivanon, made it clear that the SSBNs and
nuclear-capable long-range strategic bombers would take part. Also, joint
operations of Russian and Chinese nuclear submarines in Asian waters (against
U.S. naval forces) are likely to be part of the plan.
"You may hear about this in U.S. media in detail very
soon, but this will be the first report you will hear."
