I ask him about making different types of decals, inside and outside stick on as well as the inside and outside cling stuff, he would have to do each one separate and it would cost us a bundle. This will be printed on a press that is about forty feet long, they put down one color dry it then put down another color until it is all printed and dried.
We could order a smaller quantity but the cost will be the same.
5" Is better in my book, if the cost is within reason. They can put a coat over the patch to make it last on the outside. I have one from the USS Jefferson City that I put on Mag paper and it is holding up good.
The problem with inside is when you trade vehicles you lose the patch and the next person destroys it.

Hi guys,
I found a place that will make us decals of the boat patch, four inch, that stick to the inside of the window. We need to buy 1,000 of them.
The decals will cost about $0.30 each plus the one time set up charge. The set up charge will be high because of the seven colors.
I didn't leave the patch with the guy for a quote until I ran this by you. If we do this at 1,000 decals @ $.30 each that is $300.00 plus a guesstimate of $200.00 set up charge for a total of $500.00.
Do we want to get that much in decals? I have paid $1.50 to $2.00 for a decal this size, if we sold them for $1.50 it would take 334 to break even, $2.00 each would take 250 to break even.
The process is done by laser process and the other stuff he let me look at is good. That is all I know about the guy that will do it.
Let me know what you think. If you have questions I will try to get answers.
